A few minutes before midnight, the sun decided to come out in a blaze. We headed out of the hotel and down to the water to view the midnight sun. It was spectacular to see it after a couple of overcast days, and the timing could not have been more appropriate. We stayed out until about 12:15 enjoying the sight of the sun well above the horizon at midnight. It is brighter now than it has been all day long, and it’s looking like it is going to stay that way. What a perfect way to end an amazing day.
